A few frequently-asked questions (FAQ)
What should we wear/bring?
I won't ask you to bring a whole suitcase full of lingerie to Arizona. Just one or two cute pieces, depending on session length. Something you feel great in! Maybe a two-piece or a bodysuit, or a whole lingerie set. If you're the bride, consider white lingerie or a veil (I can bring a veil on request). If you're getting group photos, consider matching or complementary outfits. It should be new or mostly new so it looks fresh in the images. Maybe some funny props. Or bring nothing, and we can improvise with what you have!
What if someone is shy?
Everyone is welcome! They are welcome to join according to their comfort level. This is a no-pressure environment. I can take cute photos however they prefer, or they can sit out, but they won't feel left out!
Do you retouch photos?
All the final images I deliver to clients are tastefully edited. You'll still look like you, just an amplified version of you. Let me know if you have specific editing preferences, and we can discuss accommodating those. I don't change body shapes, but I do guide clients through flattering poses.
Is it better in studio or on-site?
Although there are several great studio options around Phoenix, Scottsdale, etc., one of my favorite places to shoot is at a rental house / vacation home. We can get some awesome photos in the kitchen, backyard, living room, bedroom, bathroom, etc. See my blog for an example photoshoot in a vacation rental.
Do we need experience?
Nope! For many, if not most of my clients, they have no experience. It's my job to guide you through it all, including suggesting natural movements and expressions that result in great photographic moments.
Are our photos private?
Yes - photos are stored securely and I don't share any images without your express written permission.I'm a private person, so I get it. I respect and preserve your privacy.
How long is a typical boudoir party photoshoot?
Each event is customizable, but a good time may be about 2 hours for 6-8 people. That goes pretty fast, but it leaves plenty of time for your other bachelorette activities in Scottsdale, Phoenix, or elsewhere in Arizona.
How much does a boudoir party cost?
Because each boudoir photoshoot party is customizable and may be in different locations in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Sedona, Prescott, etc., the prices vary. Contact me with information about location, date, and how many participants and I can prepare a custom package.
Is this only for brides and bachelorette parties?
Nope! This page is focused on bachelorette parties because it was just more convenient to describe it that way, but a boudoir party can be for any group, for any reason. Divorce party? Birthday? Girls' trip or staycation? Spring break? Just feeling adventurous? Anytime is a good time to be the star of the show and get some flattering photos taken!
