Miss O recently had her first boudoir photoshoot ever. I'm honored and proud to share insight into her experience! She said "I didn't think it was possible to look so incredible!" Well, Miss O, you nailed it! Here's what she had to say!

Why did you want to have a boudoir portrait session?

When I first booked my session, I had just gotten out of a "situationship" and was tired of the dating scene. I initially wanted some thirst trap photos of myself for "revenge." But by the time my shoot came around, time had passed and with Stephen's encouragement, the session ended up being something I did just for me and my empowerment instead of being for someone else.

Why did you decide to hire Stephen as your boudoir photographer? What was it like working with Stephen?

I had been thinking about doing a boudoir photoshoot and got an Instagram ad for Stephen's company by chance. Working with Stephen was a dream! He was communicative, open, and helpful in selecting outfits for the shoot. During the shoot, he made me feel comfortable and ensured that translated into the photos. I appreciated the little gestures that he added to the shoot, like bringing my favorite candy and creating a Taylor Swift (Stephen's Version) playlist!

Were you nervous before the session? How did you feel during the session?

I was not nervous at all before the session but got a little nervous at the beginning of the session. Stephen was great at easing me into poses and boosting my confidence as the session progressed.

How did you feel after the session and after receiving your photos?

I felt like a badass after the session and especially after receiving my photos!

Would you recommend Stephen to your friends?

I would recommend Stephen to friends and anyone interested in a boudoir photoshoot!

Do you have any advice for anyone considering a boudoir photoshoot with Stephen?

Take deep breaths if you're nervous and communicate with Stephen on how you're feeling! I told him what felt natural and unnatural to me and he worked with me to ensure I was 100% confident and comfortable. I asked questions whenever I had them. I brought more outfits than necessary so Stephen could let me know what would photograph well and so we had options to work with. I would also highly recommend going for the 2 hour shoot, it goes by fast!

Do you have any favorites from your session?

This one is my favorite because it was a great intro to the shoot and it makes me happy to think about how much fun was had from the very start of the session. I had an idea to take photos in a loose sweater, Stephen was open to it and had really creative ideas of his own.

I also loved this other photo because I didn't think it was possible to look so incredible! The pose and lighting were on point. Stephen's idea to toss the window curtain into the photo made it even better. [Stephen's note: She didn't actually have a black box on her hand. Censorship is no fun but here we are!]
